I had forgotten just how insane this series is. Between the illicit teacher/student relationship, cross dressing, magical youth and pirate treasure, it’s sometimes hard to follow. It’s worth it if you’re able to keep up, but be prepared to go between laughing hysterically and being utterly and totally confused.

We start off with Haruk and Tokio, who are just trying to steal some time away from the noisy and interfering Nakagami clan, to take their relationship to the next level. Of course, their plans are thwarted. This time, it’s their cousin coming for a visit that separates the lovebirds.

Hibari, heads up the cosmetics division of the Nakagami group and, having failed to secure Tokio’s father for his experiments, he’s set his sights on Tokio. It’s going to take all the talents of the Nakagamis, as well as Haruka’s love, to get out of this mess.

I’ve been waiting a long time for this release and am so happy to return to this form of insanity. I’m just hoping that I won’t have to wait for too long to get another volume from this artist!

Welcome to random insanity! So, we’ve got a teacher/student romance with the teacher looking all young and innocent and a more mature looking student. I always love the innocent-looking older characters being led down the road of sin and depravity by a younger character. It just makes me happy.

Now, sensei is reluctant to bring his lover home with him. To put it mildly, sensei’s family is a bit odd. The father is a young-looking shota fan with a penchant for the traditional loincloth style underwear and, what seems to be, has incest on his mind. The mother is a TV drama fan who favors traditional garb. The older brother is a shojo manga-ka who crossdresses quite convincingly as a woman. Where he gets the breasts from I don’t know. I also don’t know what he does with them after he’s done with him. They’re very realistic looking breasts. OH! And there’s the grandfather who looks all of fourteen and can drink everyone in the family under the table.

Lots of wacky adventures combined with clever storytelling serves to make this a truly endearing series. My favorite part was the chapter that they did RPG style, with hit points and everything. Every time sensei pulled one over on his younger lover, the younger lover’s HP would lower.

Maybe that’s something that you truly have to be a gamer geek to enjoy, but to me it was the height of hilarity.

Very sweet scenes combined with a few hot scenes of groping make for something that’s addicting. It’s not going to be for everyone. If random insanity is not your cup of tea, then this series is definitely not for you. But if you have an appreciation for the absurd, then I think you’re going to find a lot to love in this series.
