Welcome to our 2010 Smut Contest! This is our eighth year running the contest. Now, we’ve decided to shake up the contest by only allowing themed entries. The theme for this year is HISTORICAL . What do we mean by historical?

• Pre-canon, ex. Sebastian of Kuroshitsuji before he was Ciel’s butler
• Stories from your first fandom, ex. Nikita’s would be Gundam Wing (circa 2000)
• AUs set in other time periods, ex. Bleach characters in 18th century France

1. Must be smut. We’re talking about the dirtiest, throw-me-down-and-fuck-me fics out there.

2. Your entry cannot be already archived on the BND site.

3. While we are open to just about anything, we will not accept shota or anything from Prince of Tennis, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Beyblade, Dragonball, or Pokemon.

4. We also do not accept self-insertion (i.e. Mary Sues/Dicky Joes) or song fics which rely heavily on the song.

5. Make sure that your fic has been proofread. We are not your English teachers and we will not fix your grammar or spelling.

6. Completed fics only. We have lives, guys, and we don’t want to continue to update your story.

7. Only four (4) submissions per author(s). Multi-parts and arcs count as one fic.

The cutoff date for submissions is October 1st and the winners will be announced mid-October.

The categories will be: Best in Contest, Best Angst, Best Arc, Best Multi-Part, Best One-Shot, Best Smut, Best Masturbation, Best Romance, Readers’ Choice, and Babe Favorites.

All category winners will get one book from an American-release manga. Best in Contest will get one book from an American-release manga and one item from the Boys Next Door Store (excluding the track suit) or they can substitute a $20 Amazon gift certificate for either item.
