Release dates and new licenses!

There was a nice update over at the Kuriousity blog, going over all of DMP’s up and coming BL releases, and some reassurance that the 801 line wasn’t going anywhere, even with the recent bout of layoffs. Michelle, from DMP, assures us that:

“801 Media is not closing, or being absorbed into June. It will remain as it has, it’s own entity, with it’s own special packaging and pricing. It will not die, and we will not let it die. All titles are on as scheduled, and in fact, our main priority is making sure they get out on time.”

This is fantastic news, as with the demise of Drama Queen, we feel that 801 is the new benchmark for quality in BL releases.
